QBECO SSI clinical trial
This drug is going to be a huge game changer for inflammatory bowel disease sufferers! QBECO SSI, I believe, is going to help a lot of people with inflammatory bowel disease. Hope is on the horizon!
I have written posts on this before. See the first one here. I can not say enough about this new and up and coming drug for IBD sufferers. I was involved in the first clinical study for my moderate to severe Crohn’s disease. It really helped me and I firmly believe that it will help many others suffering from these inflammatory bowel diseases. They are now releasing the info from the first phase of the trial. Find it here. It looks really promising.
This new drug is coming out of Vancouver Canada and is being tested for use with all IBD patients. It is called Qbeco SSI. The SSI stands for site specific immunomodulator. It is being manufactured by a biologic company called Qubiologic. The creator or this drug is a very compassionate and brilliant man who I have had many conversations with. I believe that he is really on to something with this! It is very exciting. Check out their website for more info. And read my post here for my full experience.
My experience with this drug is very positive. I needed no other medications while on this drug and felt great. After my part of the clinical trial was over, the FDA would not allow me to continue taking it due to the fact that it has not been approved for use in the U.S. I have fought with the FDA for an exception but they won’t budge, so for now I will wait for it to be approved, which it eventually will, and then switch over to it.
They are still running trials for Ulcerative Colitis and for Crohn’s Disease so please keep checking on the site and apply to participate if you are able! click here to read more about the trials.
